Beef Shawarma & Rice platter


1. 8 oz of Egea Food Beef Shawarma
2. 1 cup of long grain Basmati rice
a. 1 and 3 quarters cup of water
b. Salt
c. Olive oil
d. Unsalted Butter


Using a small pot add 1 cup and 3 quarters of water and bring to a boil. While the water is coming to a boil, wash the rice. We recommend washing the rice until the water is clear. Next we will start to cook the sliced beef shawarma. Using your preferred method such as microwave, stove top, oven or grill. Cook the Sliced Beef Shawarma for 3-4 minutes or until your desired tenderness.
Once the water comes to a boil add in the rice, 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 3-4 pinches of salt. Cook between 18-20 minutes. Let rest for 2-3 minutes and add butter.
Using a medium bowl or plate serve the rice first and then the top with Sliced Beef Shawarma and garnish with fresh cilantro, olives, or just eat as is.
